If you’re planning on attending the Annual International Neuroethics Society meeting in October, but just haven’t gotten around to registering yet, here’s some incentive: If you register before September 1, you’ll receive a nice discount on the price of attendance. You do need to be a member of the Society in order to receive said discount, which is an incentive to become a member.
This year’s meeting is in New Orleans on October 11 and 12, and topics include addiction neuroethics, altering personhood, and animats and hybrots. For more information (and an explanation of animats and hybrots–in case you didn’t already know) check out the guest blog that program chair Paul Root Wolpe wrote for us a few weeks ago. It gives a nice overview of each panel.
Hope to see you there!
