We found Shiller's rambling comments stunningly obtuse and misinformed.

He would have been much better off sitting in the audience and learning. Economics is an ideology and not a science. In fact, econ is staunchly anti-evidence and data.

It was a bit like having a theologian giving the opening lecture. It would be in impolite to point out even some of the many silly things he said.

Even the video is cute but a cartoonish exposition on an important topic.
